Welcome to The 8-Bit Generation! My name is Steve Mervil and I created this blog along with my friends (who will be introduced later) as way to express our personal views on a wide-range of topics concerning video games. We'll share our views on the latest news in the industry as well as our opinions on games of the past and present. Along with video games, we would like to dedicate a small portion of the site to share random thoughts on general stuff (maybe a small review of product we have/tried or latest movie or anything we think of). What we want YOU to get out this site is to hopefully enjoy our madness, our diverse outlook on video games and overall build small community of gamers who carry the same love of video games as we have.We are also planning a podcast, so when the dust finally settles we hope to get it up as soon as possible. This is something we've wanted to do for a long time and believe me, these small steps are very exciting! The site is running purely on our spare-time and most importantly our passion for games. So please buckle up and if possible hang on, 'cause it's going to be a bumpy (but fun!) ride. Thanks for joining us.
